There is an abundance of time to do some "quality" thinking over here.  This has caused me to wonder about the following:

I wonder...........

how many metric tons of gravel cover large parts of JBB?

why the United States contracts with the Ugandan government to provide soldiers for base security?

if the fact that each of our guntrucks exceed the max weight limit of the pontoon bridge we take over the Tigris River by 5,000 pounds is a potential problem?

why management doesn't get the AC fixed in the gym?

how many dozens of Girl Scout cookies I have eaten in the last month? 

why I haven't seen a single sandcastle here yet?

what this area looks like from the air?

how people that can't afford a front door or windows can have a brand new satelite dish on the roof?

how many vehicles have literally been eaten by the roads here?

if a clown walking around base would cheer people up or creep them out?

what would happen if you planted one little patch of kudzu here and checked back in ten years?

if a BBQ franchise would ever make it over here?

if in place of grenades we threw those little pumpkins instead.....would that make people think differently about war?
