0952 the first (of many) females wave us over to where they have saved us chairs That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
0953 break many hearts by choosing to sit with "Doc" Copeland
0954 applying SPF 400 sunscreen
1000 radio declares it to be 100 degrees already
1004 left leg catches fire; quickly extinquished
1011-1026 watch people cheat death on the 20' platform
1027 right arm catches fire; quickly extinquished
1044 ask "Doc" (Zombie Platoon Sr. medic) for an IV
1120 declare sun the winner and retreat back to room
1130-1300 don't remember much; not saying I fell asleep but it's likely
1330-1730 chicken breast for lunch, reading, internet, conversation with Bohn about macro-economic policies of developing nations
1730 head to MoPo for some truck clean up and "look busy" time
1830 Regimental Colonel arrives to give us a pep talk
1900-2100 finish with trucks and complete yet another sensitive item inspection by serial number Really? We just did one 2 weeks ago.....is there a soldier somewhere selling his stuff on Ebay or something?
2100-2200 check the two privates I was assigned for their un-sensitive gear like bags, packs, certain clothing, camelbak, etc.
2200-2339 beef jerky (terriyaki) for dinner, internet, reading, "thinking time"
2340-now writing this post which I'm certain will simply thrill my legion of followers.
