On the schedule today are a whopping two items (so far). The first one was squad pt at 1400. Check. I confess to multi-tasking on this one though. I rode the bike for ten miles.....and read four chapters of a book at the same time. BAM! Time management, kids. Try to incorporate some into your own life.
The second task today is labeled as "room maintenance". There is no accompanying definition and so some of the more silly soldiers think that means they are to clean (straighten, dust, sweep, mop) their rooms. My advanced wisdom allows me to peer past the surface to the central cortex of this task to identify and become one with the true intent: stay out of sight. So, "room maintenance" for G36 looks a lot like me stretched out on my bed reading or playing on the computer.
Updates:
* the internet is starting to crap out again at the precise moments when I want to use it. Super.
* patience is starting to wear thin among the Zombies. We are in the sibling "love you, but don't like you" stage of the relationship. And remember they put us in 20 man rooms for the last couple of weeks here. What could possibly go wrong?
* the temps over the past three days have been a mild 98-105.
