Partial Retraction

There appears to be a stunning reversal of previous guidance for the new 24/7 schedule.  A much modified (for the better) plan has now been adopted. Hopefully, they will leave well enough alone now. There are two primary reasons that could account for this latest change and I will explore both below.

1.  The leadership at the 04 level (major) and above reflected on the many cons to their plan and humbly admited that it was untenable.  Compromise and flexibility intermingled in a sparkling dance of hubris.  Not likely.

2.  Among the tens of thousands of people that follow IRAQ 2010 there must be members of Congress, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, Joint Chiefs of Staff officers, and probably Cabinent-level members of government that read my previous post and got on the phone to get this worked out.  None of them have officially signed up as "followers" (there are only 18 who have) due to privacy and security reasons no doubt; but their voices were heard and I appreciate their efforts.  Zombie salutes you.

For now the schedule is very close to what it used to be.  Minor changes can be easily adapted to.  Wholesale changes (of the ridiculous variety) are a lot harder to stomache.  Zombie is happy.
