Gone But Not Forgotten......

Three days ago a terrible thing happened that I am only now able to put into words here on my blog. How can I say this?   I will just shoot for the plain truth and try to be strong.  Mable is....ah....well, she.....man, this is tough.....ok....Mable is gone.  I know...shocking, right? Somebody at the "Cav Palace" (Squadron HQ) decided to go ahead and direct that all non-essential tactical vehicles be turned in now. (Right now!  Hurry!)  Since Mable was not able to go "outside the wire" with her limited armor she was deemed non-essential.  So, a few days ago we cleaned her out and parked her on the fence awaiting transportation out of our MoPo.  Such sadness!  I can't even look at her....it just breaks my heart.  And from a slightly more selfish aspect it means the end of taking her to run errands, go to the gym, or go 4-wheelin around the base.  Crap.
