Internet Blackout

Dear readers,

This post is to inform you that the rumors that IRAQ 2010 has
run it's course are false.  There were a combination of events that
have caused the temporary lack of posts.  The first problem was
3 days of sandstorms (not fun) that played havoc with the internet.
The latest problem is that Babtel (which is Arabic for internet-that-
does-not-work) put in an outlet in the chus in G block which should
have meant that we could now access hard-wired (faster and more
reliable) internet.  Um, not so fast Infidel.  They are chasing down
some "switch loop failures" in the system bc if someone is lucky
enough to actually get online they are kicked off within 10 minutes.
This does little to lessen stress loads around here, but they are
"working" on the problem.  I hope things get better soon.

By the way:  temps between 102 and 107 the last few days.

psssst:  This post was made possible by a hard-wired Fugitive
operation center computer that someone left unsecured.
Opportunity taken.

Sincerely.
SGT SCAR
